I’m a guest on the Rob Breakenridge radio show tonight

It’s always a treat to talk to Rob Breakenridge — he’s one of the good guys.

Tonight I’ll be back on the show to talk about my new book:

The Tyranny of Nice: How Canada crushes freedom in the name of human rights — and why it matters to Americans.

Tune in tonight at 9:05 EST.

Here’s some news about the book itself:

If you pre-ordered the e-book version, you’ll get your copy via email attachment today. (By the end of this week, we’re switching over to to process new e-book orders in a smoother fashion.)

The “dead tree” copies will also be rolling off the presses this week, so if you chose/choose that format, your copy of The Tyranny of Nice will also be arriving shortly.

Whatever format you choose, you can order through the Tyranny of Nice website.

Please note that the e-book version has its advantages:

  • Instant gratification
  • Price (save on taxes and shipping)
  • I get a larger royalty payment! (Couldn’t resist mentioning that…)

But either way, the book is exactly the same, complete with the Introduction written by none other than Mark Steyn.

As VP debate looms: remembering Admiral Stockdale

His son writes:

Anyone over 30 will probably remember the spectacle. (…)

My father, a bona fide war hero, was trying to adapt to a format of discourse utterly foreign to him.

The debate hall was noisy, hot and nasty. My mom took a bad fall just before coming out to sit down. She, the strongest woman I know, broke into tears as she was overcome with emotion. Her four sons tried to console her.

Dad entered the race reluctantly, and only due to the deep gratitude he had for the aid Mr. Perot extended to him and my mom while he was a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

As everyone saw that evening, he was not a politician. He was a fighter-pilot ace, a Medal of Honor recipient, and a wonderful dad and human being. During his eight years as a POW, he slit his scalp and beat his face with a stool to prevent his captors from parading him in the streets for propaganda purposes. He gave starving men his food rations when he himself was starving. And at home, after his release in 1973, he was a respected leader, scholar and writer. He considered himself a philosopher.

I watched that debate too. I knew nothing about Stockdale; in fact, I don’t even remember him being introduced as “Admiral”. Not that that would have mattered to me. I was still a vestigal lefty, military-hating peacenik, although just barely.

I squirmed in my seat as Stockdale struggled to fit his answers into the tiny allotment of time, and the audience snickered.

Move along, folks. Nowt t’see here…

But although 75,000 ‘white British’ men and women are moving away, the population is still rising because of an influx of ethnic minority groups.

According to Government estimates, the established white population of England dropped by nearly 250,000 between 2002 and 2006. (…)

Fed up with high crime, the rising cost of living and a lack of community spirit, Julie Parry and her family packed their bags and left Britain.

She and her husband Eddie, 42, sold their house in Exmouth, Devon, in 2006 and moved to the remote town of Okotoks, in Alberta, Canada, with sons Brandon, five, and Frasier, seven.

Mrs Parry, 32, said: ‘Britain isn’t the same country me and Eddie grew up in.

‘It’s just the amount of crime and the high cost of living.

‘We were both working yet at the end of the month there was hardly anything left. We reached a point where we though there must be another way, so we moved.’

Going to Canada was ‘ probably the best thing we’ve ever done’, she said.

‘The quality of life here phenomenal. There’s such a sense of community. Friends who visit can’t believe how little things cost.’

Don’t miss the comments, either.

Too bad Britain’s politicians won’t bother reading them, though.

PS: and let’s face it… the white people that are left in Britain are pretty trashy, drunken chavs anyway, so it’s a lose-lose situation. Because those knife weilding, no-future guys (and girls) will have few qualms about going “National Front” on immigrants pretty much any day now. Sad but true.

“A really, really, really good week for the Canadian blogosphere”

(My co-defendant) Jonathan Kay writes:

Whatever happens on October 14, the 2008 election will be remembered as — among other things — the collective coming out party for Canada’s blogosphere. Amateur Web scribblers have been making their mark on Canadian politics for years, but never on the scale we’ve witnessed this month.

Other Liberal-friendly outlets were similarly uninterested. But the blogosphere wouldn’t let the issue go. “The Tory war room could have been on holiday that day,” a senior insider on Harper’s election team told me. “Things would still have gone as they did. And so fast. The whole cycle — including Dion’s ever-changing lines of defence — happened in less than [a day and a half].” (…)

…there will also be synergy — with bloggers doing the sifting and stirring the outrage, while the broadcast and print journalists perform the equally important job of forcing the issue during scrums, interviews and press conferences.

The result: a win-win for everyone — except, perhaps, 9/11 conspiracy theorists looking to get into politics.

“The Difference Between Muslims and Rattlesnakes”

Note: photo NSFW…

Planck’s Constant writes:

In 1786 Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to speak with Tripoli’s Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman. Jefferson and Adams asked the Ambassador how can Muslims make war on nations that have done nothing to them? The Ambassador replied:

“It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise.”

Now I expect ignorant Muslim apologists to make excuse that perhaps Muslims were upset over the Crusades or some other insult to their religion, but as Christopher Hitchens points out, “It is worth noting that the United States played no part in the Crusades, or in the Catholic reconquista of Andalusia.”

While seven abortion providers have died at the hands of fanatical Christians in the past 15 years, hundreds of thousands have died in the same time period in over 11,915 barbaric Muslim attacks. (…)

Muslims kill more people in one year than in all 356 years of the Spanish Inquisition combined.

Black Informant cries: “Okay, ENOUGH!”

He writes:

I can’t begin to tell you how tired I am of getting e-mails from folks that either drag me through quickie tours of the bowels of slavery, the segregated south, Rodney King, O.J. Katrina or the latest rumor where Sarah Palin called somebody “Sambo”, or the YouTube video of the Black kid claiming that he is the father of Bristol Palin’s child–all in an attempt to convince me that as a member of the Black race, I should be voting for Obama.

Not one of the e-mails I have received from the E-underground railroad as of late go beyond reminders of the ol’ South, Jim Crow, Bull Connor and nooses to convince me why I should vote with the Black block. Using the fear that nooses could swing again in trees or an attack from a police dog is eminent unless I vote ‘the right way’ doesn’t work with me.

What really gets me is that folks out there are actually running with some of these rumors as if they were true. These are GROWN folks I’m talking about.

I absolutely L-O-V-E my people, but I tell ya’, I getting real tired of this one-trick pony we trot out every election season. Most of the world is talking about the state of the global economy and many of us are stuck on finding the invisible Arctic Negroes Palin could have offended

Russia and the resurrection of “The Party”

My latest in FrontPage:

The Soviet parallels are even more striking in Russian domestic politics, where a small but telling development further signals the troubling reincarnation of America’s Cold War foe. According to a September 22 Stratfor dispatch, Putin is planning to tour United Russia Party regional headquarters to “consolidate his control over the country under ‘The Party,’ a concept and term reminiscent of another day and time” when “another Russian party served as the single controlling power in Russian for most of the 20th century.”

Don’t forget to listen to my interview about “The Tyranny of Nice”

with BrassBallsRadio.

But be warned:

(thanks to Binks for the graphic)

So where’s my ZOG cheque at?

Now this is funny:

a) I am apparently one of “the additional forces within the fabric of Canadian society who are pushing this pro-Zionist agenda, either wittingly or unwittingly…”

b) this list also includes B’nai Brith, the Canadian Jewish Congress and the Simon Weisenthal Center — all of whom I’ve brutally, publicly criticized on numerous occasions, and who regularly visit my blog, possibly to assemble an HRC case dossier against me.

But wait, there’s more:

Spearheaded by CanWest’s Asper media monopoly and its most zealous rag the National (Zionist) Post and aided and abetted by the persistent collusion of a motley hoard of rabid, pro-Zionist cyber hounds

That’s me!

concealing themselves behind various “Christian”, “Conservative” and “Liberal” blogkades, the search for the non-believers in the official lies of 9/11, the heathen apostates who have yet to prostrate themselves before the Zionist Israeli lobby now controlling Ottawa and the freaks who once, or still, smoke the cursed marijuana herb are all fair game in this Armageddon to control the mind-fields of Canada’s volatile electors. (…)

Astonishing as it may appear to many voters the realization that Canada’s media is dominated by one small faction of Zionist extremists still remains a mystery yet is thee [sic] perennial problem that Canadians face in terms of discerning truth from lies when it comes to our so-called “independent”, mainstream media.

This same Asper/Zionist media monopoly extends to television as well where the vast majority of Canadians get their political perspective on national and world events and includes the following televised media sources: Global Television Network (8 regional channels including Edmonton’s ITV and Vancouver’s VTV), Fox Sportsworld Canada, Lone Star, Deja View, Mystery Channel, CHEK Victoria, CHTV Hamilton, and CHBC Okanagan. They also own Fireworks Entertainment and 8 other foreign channels and numerous radio stations across the globe.

My first interview about “The Tyranny of Nice”, with BrassBallsRadio

On Friday I talked to Canadian expat/farm gal/blogger/talk show host Wendy Sullivan at BrassBallsRadio, about my new book The Tyranny of Nice, co-authored with Pete Vere.

We discuss the cases of Mark Steyn, Ezra Levant and other lesser known victims of Canada’s out of control Human Rights Commissions, and warn American listeners that they aren’t safe from censorship and intimidation from radical Muslims and leftists who are misusing the legal system.

Tune in for this fun-filled interview — my very first one about The Tyranny of Nice!

(PS: Wendy Sullivan’s interview earlier this year with Mark Steyn got over one million downloads. She’s a rising podcast star. You won’t want to miss her weekly program.)

Flash mobs and “truth squads” bully Obama’s critics (LINKS FIXED)

Is this the fascism we’ve been waiting for…?

In my latest article, I look at reports that Obama’s people are using “police state” tactics to silence any criticism of the Great Messiah.

You’ve no doubt heard about the phone-in “flash mobs” that intimidated a radio show host who dared to have on two writers who’ve exposed Obama’s dubious ties and beliefs.

Now employees of the city of St. Louis, including a sheriff and two Circuit Attorneys,  have formed themselves into a self-described “truth squad”, and are threatening some Obama critics with legal action.

PS: know who wrote the very best critique of those radio “flash mobs”? You’ll never guess…

You’ll just have to read my article to find out.

You get to leave comments and everything.

Diversity = bankruptcy

“…here’s the last press release from the nation’s 6th largest bank on the day before it finally went under:”

WaMu Recognized as Top Diverse Employer—Again Company ranks in top ten of Hispanic Business’ Diversity Elite and earns perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index

SEATTLE, WA (September 24, 2008) – Washington Mutual, Inc. (NYSE:WM), one of the nation’s leading banks for consumers and small businesses, has once again been recognized as a top employer by Hispanic Business magazine and the Human Rights Campaign.

OK, I’ll play: Chinese women can’t drive. How’s that?

Stresses in multiculturalism focus of diversity symposium

By Maclean Kay
Troy Media Corporation

CALGARY, AB, September 29/Troy Media/ – Canadians’ reputation for being too polite often comes across as simply being dishonest, according to a junior high and adult English-as-a-Second-Language teacher in Calgary.

Kate Franks, who works with newcomers from countries and cultures from around the world, said the level of tact is so high in Canada that often her students don’t find Canadians to be forthright. That translates into being dishonest, she said, not in the literal sense but, by trying too hard to be polite, it accomplishes the same thing.

“I’ve seen websites run by recent immigrants to Canada listing bad experiences here,” she said. The comments “discourage others from choosing Canada as a place to relocate.”

Canadians so prize their reputation as accommodating, welcoming and above all, tolerant, she said, that some may not want to hear what some recent immigrants have to say. That lack of feedback, on everything from personal space to facial expressions, leads to both confusion and a disinterest in bridging cultures.

Dan Shapiro, a research associate with the Sheldon Chumir Foundation for Ethics in Leadership, agrees.

“It actually shows much greater respect to offer sincere criticisms, when cultural disagreements occur,” Shapiro said, “than to say nothing – or worse, to assume that behaviour you find inadequate is all you can expect from certain groups.” That, he added, is the very definition of patronizing, and is far more insulting than a well-intended critique.

There is a reluctance to offer criticism, Shapiro suggested, because so much stock is placed in a person’s identity in terms of culture, religion, gender, sexuality and so on. “When you attack a person or culture’s positions, it’s interpreted as an attack on them personally.”

What Canadian children learn during Islamic History Month

The usual: break the law, kills the Jews…

October is Islamic History Month.

As BlazingCatFur explains:

Islamic History Month was recognized officially by Parliament October 25th 2007 as a result of a motion presented by Liberal MP Mauril Bélanger, [who declared] “I encourage cultural exchanges between Canada’s diverse communities, which make us a vibrant and dynamic society. I believe that by having a better understanding of our fellow Canadians from various communities and backgrounds that we will achieve a stronger and more cohesive country.”

In the interest of “understanding”, BCL checked out the website for Canadian Islamic History Month, took the quiz (and kept the screen shots for posterity):

Under what circumstance is marriage to more than one woman permitted in Islam?

Correct answer Answer is 3:
In special cases where women outnumber men or the wife cannot bear children, the man is permitted to retain a first wife with all her rights guaranteed and marry a second.

No mention of the fact that polygamy is illegal in Canada.

How did Allah punish the children of Israel after Prophet Musa died?

Correct answer is 3:
He declared he would send against them, until the Day of Judgement, those who would treat them with penalties and he would break them into sections throughout the world.

Wow, how’s that for understanding, strength and cohesion?

And of course, the site claims that Muslims invented everything, even though that’s a myth. Islam is mostly parasitical; if they had to steal airplanes they couldn’t have invented to fly them into buildings they couldn’t have designed, then concoct crazy conspiracy theories to explain away what happened, there’s no way they invented frickin’ chess.

UK Muslims warn of more violence if book published

Hardline clerics said that further attacks would be “inevitable” if publication of the novel, The Jewel of Medina, goes ahead as planned next month.

Police moved in to arrest three men moments after a fire broke out at the London home and office of Martin Rynja in the early hours of Saturday.

But the radical cleric Anjem Choudhary said the book was an insult to the Prophet Mohammed’s honour, something he said would warrant a “death penalty” under Sharia law.

Which, as we all know, now has legal standing in Britain.

“People should be aware of the consequences they might face when producing material like this. They should know the depth of feeling it might provoke.”

He denied any involvement in the attack but said he “understood” the feelings of the perpetrators.

“If the publication goes ahead then I think, inevitably, there will be more attacks like this – this is the thin of the wedge,” he said.

Speaking from Lebanon, the radical cleric Omar Bakri, added: “If anybody attacks that man I cannot myself condemn it.”

Think it can’t happen here?

The two most famous Muslim leaders in Canada have called for writers to be jailed if they insult Mohammed the child molester.

Ask your candidate about that when they knock on your door. I promise you they won’t know anything about that, or will pretend not to.

Ask them why we continue to allow people like this to immigrate to Canada, and undermine our Anglo-Saxon law & order, free speech culture.

Watch them squirm.
