I love being right

Guessed it all by myself!

“It happened outside the Whole Foods in Berkeley…”

Not what you’d expect. (Except for the description of the suspect).

Maybe these California hippies aren’t all bad. Even Volkswagen van-driving lesbians named “Harmony”.

The Who is better than that stupid band you like: George Bush salutes Daltry and Townsend

Don’t bother looking for the musical tribute to The Who on the show; the performers just remind you of The Who’s superiority.

We’re all racists. Lefties just lie about it.

As more and more black renters began moving into this mostly white San Francisco Bay Area suburb a few years ago, neighbors started complaining about loud parties, mean pit bulls, blaring car radios, prostitution, drug dealing and muggings of schoolchildren.

Like many commenters, I’m not sure what’s “racist” about not wanting people like this in your neighborhood. Used to be called “sanity” and “common sense”, especially in a city like San Francisco, which is an expensive place to live.

Tolerance is immaturity. When you grow up and start paying taxes and owning property, you (should) start getting very intolerant about your neighbor’s bad behaviour. If you don’t, you’re just a guilty white beta male who deserves every bad thing he gets.

It’s also a fact that in general, blacks and gays don’t like each other much in California these days. Blacks didn’t vote down Prop 8 because they believe in traditional marriage; if they did, they wouldn’t have so many out of wedlock kids and baby daddies etc. They just don’t like homosexuality.

FLASH: Muslim terrorists attack Jewish store in Denmark

This just in via Brian Of London on Twitter:

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Yossi Levy confirmed Wednesday that an Israeli-owned stand in the Danish city of Odense was attacked by Arab assailants.

According to the ministry’s information, the Israelis were fired upon and two were lightly injured.

UPDATE: Brian recommends watching “Denmark” in the Twitter stream. (Hit refresh)

IslamInEurope is watching the story.

First “real” news report.

“…we’re talking about a country where ‘Jews are Allah’s enemies’ is a popular protest chant…” (with video)

Magic Negro songwriter says lighten up (wait, is that racist?)

Paul Shanklin speaks:

Is it provocative? Well, most political satire is. What I do for a living is major-league provocative…”

“Apparently, Chairman Duncan doesn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh or conservative Republicans out here in the hinterlands,” Shanklin said as he listed Duncan’s recent accomplishments: “Let’s see, he’s lost the presidency, the House and the Senate. I’m kind of shocked and appalled he’s still there.”

Shanklin credited Saltsman with laying the framework for how far the GOP has come in Tennessee.

Saltsman, he said, “set a tone of leadership that got us” the state House and the state Senate. Under Saltsman as state GOP chairman, Shanklin said the Nashvillian made sure Republicans were running for state House and state Senate seats.

“Chip makes things happen,” Shanklin said.

***
Based soley on the numbers, the GOP leadership (real and would-be) should be WAY more concerned about turning off anti-p.c. white voters with senses of humor/satire who WERE going to vote for them, than about the p.c. black voters and their fauxcon white enablers without senses of humor/satire, who were never going to vote GOP anyway.

Whether or not the GOP ever takes the White House again is less important than standing up to touchy victocrats and their faux outrage who can’t or won’t appreciate the importance political satire plays in the health of the body politic.

Nicholas Packwood: “Here is a thought…”

If you see a barbarian carrying a badly spelled injunction to kill Jews, smash his sign and smash him in the face. The barbarians have much, much worse in mind for you. Ignore the police, they are collaborating with an occupying power, our own stupidity.

Seriously. What is the worst that can happen to you? The enemy are cowards and our justice system is a joke. Any constituency prepared to offer a low grade urban insurgency is rewarded with arts grants, preferential hiring and – the Golden Fleece – tenure. There are no crimes any more, only pathologies. No criminals, only victims of circumstance. Therefore, be not afraid of the law let alone voodoo insults such as “racist”.

Sticks and stones, remember, really do break bones and have the corollary effect of concentrating the mind.

The next time someone sets off a bomb aimed at civilians, the act needs to be answered in kind. This is not an injunction (heaven forbid). It is an observation.

Elizabeth did not take the Spaniards to court and any press questioning her intellect – let alone her patriotism – would have met a swift and well deserved end. No, she set fire ships among them and did her level best to see none of the enemy found their way home again. And if their Spanish friends and families quailed in fear, so much the better.

Mohammed Elmasry: what an ignorant pig

Mohammed El Sharpton, dumbf*ck:

Gaza has, in fact, been reduced to a new Auschwitz: the only difference – a nightmarish irony — is that Jews are now playing the role of Hitler’s ruthless SS.

Good news, though:

El-Mo has a NEW EMAIL ADDRESS…

elmasry@thecanadiancharger.com

PS: You may want to ask your MP if Mohammed Elmasry’s new magazine, The Canadian Charger, is getting any kind of government subsidy and then threaten to withhold the portion of your taxes that go toward it.

UPDATED: why Mark Steyn beat El-Mo’s HRC case, Part CXVII…

Er, right. And that would make Hamas the concentration camp guards?

There really are two Americas (and Canadas)

Lefty guy reviews Bill O’Reilly’s book, reveals more about himself and his liberal friends:

If I had lived in New Orleans, I would have gotten in my car and driven the hell out of there as soon as the national weather service gave warning[," writes O'Reilly.]

In case the reader missed the point, Bill says that the dead in New Orleans were “either too dumb, too lazy, too mentally challenged, or too unlucky to have provided themselves with basic protections.”

Stupid and callous as that may sound, it’s the sort of proclamation that helped O’Reilly “succeed in life.” In fact, this sort of non sequitur is the most powerful rhetorical device in O’Reilly’s part of the ideological spectrum.

Huh?

“Non sequitur”? “Stupid”? Er, no. Isn’t it obvious that O’Reilly “succeeded in life” because he wasn’t the kind of lazy moron who chose to a) live in a crime/drug ridden dump below sea level then b) didn’t abide repeated warnings to leave town and c) blamed their problems on FEMA and George Bush even though millions of other non-stupid/lazy Americans managed to survive other tragedies for 200 years before FEMA (founded in the 1970s) and/or George Bush ever existed?

Predictions for 2009

If you’ve been reading this blog for the last eight years, you know the drill: I make the same predictions every year, figuring they’ll have to “take” some day — Margaret Atwood will win the Nobel Prize, that ELO revival will begin, and plastic surgeons will invent “hand lifts” for aging boomers.

My 2009 death picks are Elizabeth Taylor, Sean Connery, Steve Jobs and Michael Jackson.

Yep, pretty boring.

My only resolution is to start smoking again if I get cancer. So get to work, you lazy, good for nothing cells!

Bizarre: “religion” info on Canadian politicians erased from Wikipedia

Don’t look at me…

A small handful of anonymous internet users have made an editorial decision, leading to the deletion of key information about Canada’s past on one of the world’s most frequented websites. To make matters worse, they have done so based on spurious logic that the religious views of politicians have never been at the centre of Canadian political discourse. Only recently, Paul Martin’s Catholic faith and that of Joe Clark have come up within the context of the gay rights and the same-sex marriage debate. But apparently information on church affiliation has no place in Wikipedia “infoboxes.”
