Over half the white teenaged girls in North America have “dabbled in witchcraft” since the 1970s.
It’s a thing.
Just a confused, helpless girl’s awkward play for “empowerment.” They like the secrecy and sensuality. It’s related to this and this. I wrote about it in one of my books.
Her adventures sound pretty extreme but I give her credit for even talking about it on tv. In terms of adolescent “fast dancing” embarrassment, it’s right up there with telling a national television audience that you used to masturbate to Mandingo.
UPDATE: as opposed to those imaginary, fictional, metaphorical “witch hunts” the Left is always going on about, Pundette points out that “now they’re LITERALLY hunting witches.”
(PS: amazingly related!)
