That’s the subject line in the email a friend sent me, about the latest from Dave Bidini of “please don’t kick me out of the CanLit treehouse!!” fame.

I’d change that “but” to “because”, but anyhow:

PS: it just occurs to me that the only two batches of hate mail I’ve received in the past couple of years have been from:

That guy will the funny name who used to write for the National Post — “Neet Heer” or something? — scolding me for daring to mock Chester Brown.

So basically:

I thought latte lefties were all about KONY 2012 and cycling lanes and gay abortion rights and “ironically” collecting old board games from their childhoods and shit, but as it turns out, their highest priority is scanning the internet for each other’s names then penning shocked & appalled emails when one of their own is attacked, even mildly.
