I’m taping Michael Coren’s show this afternoon

We’ll be discussing the Toronto School Board’s cross-dressing curriculum.

Mark Shea responds to the story.

PS: Lenny Bruce said “There’s nothing sadder than an aging hipster.”

I’d counter that the only thing sadder are young people (like Marcus Ewhert, mentioned below) who become obsessed with aging hipsters.

Was just talking about this with friends the other day:

How so many high school stoners immediately step into a virtual time machine and get fixated on people (like Bob Dylan and Bob Marley and The Doors) who haven’t been “cool” in these kids’ lifetimes.

Happy Pride! Veteran gay rights activist charged with child porn possession

Uh huh:

San Francisco police have arrested veteran gay rights advocate Larry Brinkin in connection with felony possession of child pornography.

Brinkin, 66, who worked for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission before his retirement in 2010, was taken into custody Friday night.

However, this sounds phony to me:

The warrant claims these e-mails contained images of children as young as perhaps a year old being sodomized by and performing oral sex on adult men.

[email protected] — whom the police allege is Brinkin — provided graphic commentary on the photos of interracial adult-child sex.

Comments included “I loved especially the nigger 2 year old getting nailed. Hope you’ll continue so I can see what the little blond bitch is going to get. White Power! White Supremacy! White Dick Rules!”

Can someone ask Bernie Farber what he thinks of these horrible racist Nazi comments on the internet?

Cuz I don’t have his email…

Brinkin also “brought the nations first domestic partnership lawsuit in 1982.”

Sometime sick narcissists desperate for attention and affirmation will hold you hostage until they get it.

Their “social justice” causes are a guilt-fueled cover for their secret degeneracy and self-loathing.

Evicted by the Landlords of Social Media: my NEW piece at Taki’s

Don’t be too smug about the impressive network of blogs and other sites we’ve constructed, conservatives and libertarians.

If you’re relying on Facebook, Blogger, YouTube or a free WordPress to get your message out, you could be silenced in seconds.

The real problem isn’t Facebook’s drunken lurching between censorship and freedom (while insisting, like every blotto college boy, that they’re “totally not drunk, dude” and it’s the rest of us who need to “chill”).

The problem is that there is only one Facebook.

That’s worrisome because: a) Facebook may be dead within the decade, and b) even if it survives, its “progressive” culture will become more entrenched as younger and even more brainwashed hipsters get their key cards to the Palo Alto campus.

I’ve been a chorus of (almost) one making the unpopular argument that conservatives and libertarians do not need yet another news site or opinion aggregator to compete in an increasingly redundant marketplace already crowded with Townhalls and DailyCallers and NewsMaxes and their dozens of imitators.

Had Andrew Breitbart truly been a visionary, he’d have invested in free-speech-friendly versions of Facebook, Blogger, and WordPress, which regularly shut down “right-wing” blogs when leftists file complaints.

Remember: ‘exhaustion’ is NOT a medical condition

Somebody tell Jesse Jackson Jr’s people.

Hospitals have very stringent admitting criteria that are reviewed by governmental and private agencies. This assures that hospitals maintain a certain standard of care. This is required for hospitals to maintain their licensure and standing. So they cannot admit a young healthy individual for being tired! Psychiatric hospitals are held to the same standards. There must be some identified medical diagnosis that meets criteria to need hospitalization.

So when you hear or read that someone has been hospitalized for exhaustion or dehydration immediately read that as a lie. If this is a young person under say 30 years of age most of these fabrications are covering for addiction. After 30 it can be addiction or alcoholism but many times this is also a cover for a Psychiatric illness.
