Write a catchphrase for Roger Corman

Roger sent over the preliminary art for his upcoming Attack Of The 50 Foot Cheerleader and is asking Trailers from Hell fans to come up with a suggested ad copy line, preferably one with sexual innuendo – funny, if possible.

To enter, all you have to do is leave your suggested tagline in the comments below. If Roger chooses it, you will get a free framed copy of the finished poster signed personally to you by Roger Corman! This contest starts immediately and will end on Saturday, August 25th at 11:59 pm PST.

Speaking of Roger Corman, I recently caught his St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (1967) on AMC and wow, was it terrible.

First: anachronistic gun selection for the most important firearm in the film.

Next: Jason Robarts as Al Capone?

People forget that before The Godfather, Italian mobsters were often played by WASPS (or Jews). I don’t know why either.

(UPDATE: A reader suggests they were already occupied playing Indians.)

The “bosses” in The Damned Don’t Cry for example all look like old-time Supreme Court Justices.

But man, that Robarts choice was unforgettably awful. Distractingly bad.

Also bad? The Untouchables (1987)?

Holy hell, Brian DePalma is a hack. How many times did he (and David Mamet) make the “accountant” character talk about “tax evasion”? Does he think the audience is that stupid?

Loyal 5FF readers already know my thoughts on that subject.

Maybe the only good scene?
