And she’s right about phones. My old one had an “OFF” button which I appreciated no end on 9/11 and on many other occasions, and miss with that feature on our newish cordless.
Is there a cordless phone with an “OFF” switch? Let me know.
Also, our old TV remote had a “SLEEP” button you could set in 30 minute increments. Our new one doesn’t.
How are either of these developments “progress”?
