Just as Rosh Hashanah leads into Yom Kippur, so too does “Kent State Day” (May 4) relate directly to “Hard Hat Day” (May 8.)
For those of you who agree that the last seconds of Easy Rider are the best part of the whole damn movie — other than the evocative, picturesque rider-POVs of the American countryside, which someone should just cut out, edit together and sell as a totally different, and superior, hippie-free film — please enjoy some of my vaguely-related Kent State-ish posts here, here, here, here, here, and here, and get ready for my annual Hard Hat Day celebration this coming week!
