A YouTube video by Visit Brussels went viral earlier this year. The video and its description say, “After Brussels was linked to terror plots, the international media portrayed the city as a warzone. visit.brussels wants to change this perception with an honest answer. We gave people in Brussels the opportunity to tell how life really is in the city.”
The first caller shown in the video takes the irony to another level.
“Did you see some people who are fighting with guns or bombs?” a man asks.
“Nooo,” a woman on the other end says before laughing.
