I understand Pyjamas Media is a privately funded hobby for a wealthy right winger. I wonder how the writers view themselves, in terms of integrity. Kathy Shaidle, on her blog last Saturday, demonstrated quite nicely what her values are. As Senator Ted Kennedy was being rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure, the good Christian woman Kathy Shaidle was instructing her readers to please get some priorities, and posting a picture of the tombstone of Mary Jo Kopechne. All these years later, when a man is fighting for his life, this is the kind of hateful message Shaidle offers to the world. She is an embarrassment to any serious journalist.

I realize this must offend your utopian principles, Johnny, but... old people get sick and die. They're supposed to do that. Even the pseudo-mythical phony ones you mistakenly idolize, in order to add flashes of colour, borrowed glory and purpose to your own literally wasted life.

Young women, however, are not supposed to die an unnatural death, and if they do, their killers are supposed to be punished, not rewarded and lauded as heroes.
