Anyway, our old neighbour was a pip. She was a former Toronto street person (according to her) turned front-yard fibromyalgia victim. That’s the condition where your “illness” acts up only when you’re in your front yard where the public can see you, requiring the need of your walker. Funny how the condition never bothered her in the backyard where we’d see her swinging like a monkey from the trees, chainsaw in hand.
But her illness and her hubby’s disability meant they required welfare to assist them in raising their four kids with the same attitude of entitlement. Oh, and we (the taxpaying public) were providing her with a free university education too.
