When leftists manufacture and manipulate stuff you’ve said — I call it “ransom note racism” — my policy is NEVER to clarify, explain or disown the statement, no matter how crazy it is.
That’s exactly what leftists want you to do:
Waste your life on the defensive, correcting their misinformation about you.
The key to success in life is to keep going forward — responding to real (and imaginary) outrages of the past forces you to go in the wrong direction.
Again, that’s what your enemies want.
And never apologize:
The world has a funny habit of catching up with your “controversial” opinions.
The MP made the mistake of over-reacting:
As pro-life MP Stephen Woodworth tends his ailing mother, he was forced Tuesday to spend much of the day defending himself over Twitter from a fake quote attributed to him that “rape is God’s will.”
In a post that was retweeted at least 10,000 times, marijuana activist and pro-abortion blogger Russell Barth put up a picture of Woodworth with a quote stating: “Rape is God’s will. Abortion is not. It’s in The Bible.”
Woodworth defended himself to tweeters dozens of times on Tuesday, writing, “It is a bald-faced lie. Some of my opponents have no shame!”
The same day he issued a press release calling the claims “entirely fictitious.”
