Amazing endeavor announced by Canadian Shooting Sports Association:
We need to do our very best to make sure that the new firearms laws enacted by Bill C-19 on April 5 are respected. So, we created Great Canadian Gun Registry Shuffle.
We are asking firearms owners to buy, sell and swap guns to make the registry data even less accurate –– if that’s possible! We all know the data is wonky, outdated and useless, but anti-gun advocates continue to protect the data for future use. They are intentionally snubbing the law. It’s time to fix that by making the data so transparently unusable that it isn’t worth protecting.
That’s where you come in. You can show your support and intentions to shuffle through blogs, letters to the editor, radio call-in shows, and all social media to confirm that you support this initiative. It’s just as important to let others know that you’re shuffling your firearms as doing it. And of course, your claims cannot be substantiated because there is no registry to record the changes. We all win.
There’s even a song to go with it!
