While I’m meeting a ton of deadlines, why not offer some, er, Christian-like corrections in the comments?
Eric Rudolph called himself a Christian, but a parrot could be trained to do the same. A heretic isn’t someone who rejects Christianity, but someone who insists that their particular non-canonical “Christianity” is the only correct interpretation. And there is no orthodox denomination of Christianity that teaches that “Northern European whites are the direct descendants of the lost tribes of Israel.” (Alert readers would have noticed the absence of any mention of a place called “Europe” in any translation of the Bible they’d have picked up…) And no “Christian” declares that he “prefers Nietzsche to the Bible.”
I almost forgot my own article on the topic.
